Growing up, I had no idea my dream job would involve wedding photography. I have always had a creative soul, and I will forever be thankful to have landed in this industry to utilize my artistic gifts. From drawing on the walls in my parents house (sorry momma and daddy!), to taking drawing/portrait lessons from age eight into college, to learning the technical aspect of photography and light, I am humbled by the journey I took to get to where I am today. Being a wedding photographer is the ultimate culmination of my creative interests, and serving amazing couples on their wedding days is such an honor.

I adore each and every one of my couples. Their love for each other, the way they value their friendships and how they devote so much to their families are inspiring qualities. They also love a good party, and what better way to celebrate than a wedding!
We got married in 2019 at the beautiful Rixey Manor, surrounded by our favorite people! We love hanging out at home, cooking together, and snuggling our sweet yellow lab, Bandit. When we are not at home, you can find us out at the lake on our boat, or planning our next OBX beach trip. It is safe to say the water is our happy place!
I believe Friday evenings should be spent with family and friends. Game nights and yummy dinners lead to some of the best memories with loved ones. I also enjoy visiting Virginia wineries and cideries with my family!
"Life takes you down many paths, but my favorite ones lead to the beach." My favorite place in the entire world: the Outer Banks of North Carolina. There's just something about the salty air and sunshine that is so good for my soul. Bonus points for anyone who is getting married in OBX and hires me to document their special day!
A fun, but not well-known fact about me- I am actually a classically trained pianist. I grew up playing piano, and it is one of my favorite creative outlets. I do not play as much as I used to, but will happily sit down and play some hymns or classical pieces any chance I get.
