Jess + Matt | Spring Engagement Session

June 22, 2020

Jess and Matt’s engagement session was incredible and I am so happy to be sharing these photos on the blog.  This was actually my last engagement session before quarantine/covid-19 basically shut down my photography business for two months- so at least I got to “end” my brief spring season on a high note!  I loved getting to work with Jess and Matt and cannot wait for their winter wedding at one of my favorite venues (Renback Barn)!

We were originally going to do their session near a lake, but it was SO windy near the water that it was nearly impossible to take pictures.  Other than the crazy wind, the weather was great so we decided to relocate to their family farm/property.  This ended up being the best decision because the location was even more meaningful for their photos!  Plus, I could not have asked for better weather and light.

Their pup, Koda, joined us for photos and I loved him!  He is so cute and full of personality… I mean just look at him!

Love!!  Koda is so cute!

Jess, you are gorgeous!!

We had to grab some photos by the rusty truck!  Perfect way to add a rustic vibe.

My favorite!!

Look at that beautiful ring!

Koda even went for a swim in the pond and loved the water!

We ventured out to the cow field at the end and if you know me, you know I love ALL animals so taking pictures with the cattle had to happen haha!

Jess and Matt, thank you so much for welcoming me on your farm!  I had the best time hanging out with you both and can’t wait for your wedding! 🙂
