June 27, 2020
Glenda and Chris had the most incredible winter wedding! You are probably wondering why I am talking about a winter wedding when it is 90 degrees outside in the middle of June, but I knew I would be re-branding and launching a new site, so I decided to wait to share these photos until my new site + blog was ready! When Glenda first reached out to me, I was so excited to work with them, but also a little nervous about a February wedding since the weather in February in Virginia can be so unpredictable! I was preparing myself for super cold temperatures and snow. Instead, we had beautiful, mild weather and SUNSHINE! What a perfect way to have kicked off my 2020 wedding season. Thank you to Glenda and Chris for entrusting me to capture your day- I loved working with you both!
Glenda’s details were perfect. She loves neutrals as much as I do, and planned out her florals and invites beautifully.
This ring!! I could photograph this everyday! If you know me, you know I love unique rings, and this was the first marquise diamond I have gotten to photograph.
Such a radiant bride!
Chris had the best reaction when he saw Glenda, which is one of the many reasons I love capturing first looks. The emotion and excited of it all is so special!
They opted to exchange personal vows before the ceremony and just like the first look, they were full of emotion and excitement.
After they exchanged their personal vows, it was time to get these two married!
Off to celebrate!
We snuck away from the reception to get some more portraits and enjoy the sunshine!
My favorite! We found this small park area near their venue and it was great for their portraits.
Back to their reception to dance the night away! I think at one point, every guest was out on the floor dancing. This was one of the most incredible receptions I have ever photographed. Glenda and Chris’ guests were so excited to celebrate them and it showed in how much everyone danced!
Congrats again, you two!!
