Déjà + Shane | Fredericksburg Engagement Session

Finally blogging this joyful engagement session! Déjà and Shane are getting married next year, but wanted to schedule their engagement session for the summer.  This was great except for the fact that every time we planned to take photos it rained!  I tell all my clients the hardest part of being a photographer is Virginia weather haha!  When we were finally able to meet for their engagement session, I texted Déjà because it was cloudy and I was so sad we weren’t going to have sunshine for their photos.  She immediately texted back and said “we don’t mind the clouds.  It’s cool to be a little different.”  Here she was reassuring me that everything was just fine and I love her for that!  Just another reason my clients are simply the best!  (PS- the light was wonderful for their photos)

About 30 seconds after meeting Déjà and Shane, I realized that these two are tons of fun to be around and that their wedding is going to be a blast!  Needless to say, I am very excited for their big day next year.  It is going to be just as beautiful as it will be fun!  Enjoy a few of my many favorites from their engagement portraits.

If you look closely at the photo on the left, you’ll see her ring has a double halo!  I love all the details in her ring.
