Agata + Chris | Alexandria Engagement Session

October 7, 2020

I love getting to photograph in new locations, and that is exactly what happened for this engagement session.  Originally, Agata and Chris had planned to meet me in downtown Culpeper for their portraits, but humid, rainy weather caused us to reschedule.  It actually worked out better to pick a new day because we ended up having perfect portrait weather for their session!  Due to schedules, we also moved the location to Alexandria and I am so glad we did.  Going to new locations forces me to be more creative with compositions and looking for the best light.  It pushes me out of my comfort zone and the outcome is always good!  This is one of my new favorite engagement sessions and I hope you enjoy scrolling through a few of my top favorite images!  Thank you again to Agata and Chris for inviting me out to Alexandria to capture these for you.

Obsessed with Agata’s ring!  It is so classic and beautiful.

At the end of their session, we ventured back to the Wilson Bridge for these photos and I love how epic this location is.
