Christmas at J St.Clair Photography | Christmas 2018

December 21, 2018

I am super excited to finally share some of my Christmas decorations!  This was my first year decorating my own space for Christmas and I am loving how everything turned out!  While I still have ideas for more Christmas decorations, I love how festive the house feels.  (Also, let’s be honest, you can never be too festive in terms of Christmas!).  This year, I really focused on the Christmas trees.  I have three up right now and each one is themed.  Next year, I plan to decorate the trees of course, but also add more detailed decorations throughout the home.  I’ll try my best to share where I did the majority of my decor shopping, but some of the ornaments and decorations are either from friends, or made by me!  Hope you all enjoy the post!  Merry Christmas!

Starting off with my favorite tree!  This flocked tree is in my office and I don’t think I could have possibly designed a better tree to match my personality (definitely have to brag about this one!).  Rose gold, reindeer and pretty lights- it is perfect for my office space!

The tree itself was a clearance find at WalMart from last year and the ornaments are predominately from Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, a few from Target, and the pretty, antique glass ornaments are from a family friend (I wish I knew where they are originally from because they are really well made).  The reindeer are from Michaels, Merrifield Garden Center, and Hobby Lobby. Reindeer have always been my favorite Christmas item so that’s why I have a little collection!

My favorite ornament- my blush camera from Hobby Lobby!

Next up is the tree in our living room!  If you know me, you know I love neutrals, especially when it comes to interior decorating.  I wanted to extend that into how I decorated for Christmas, but still keep some classic Christmas elements.  I love the pops of red in this tree.  You may notice I don’t have a tree topper, and that’s because I just haven’t found one that I truly like.  Hopefully, I can find one after Christmas and score a deal on it!

This tree, also flocked, is from Hobby Lobby!  The ornaments are from friends, Hobby Lobby, Michael’s and probably Merrifield Garden Center.  The tree skirt is from Marshall’s.

Might have a small obsession with pillows- what can I say?!

I am a sucker for glitter and just had to have these little trees from Merrifield Garden Center!

Last but certainly not least is our beach tree!  This is a live tree that Michael and I cut down from the same farm where we got engaged last year!  We are really just starting to collect beach-y themed ornaments, so this one is definitely still a work in progress, but I love how it has turned out so far.  The tree skirt reminds me of sand; I think it ties into the beach theme nicely!  Some of these ornaments were gifts from my mom and sister, and some are from Hobby Lobby.  I would be so grateful for any recommendations for the best places to get Christmas beach decor!

One of my goals for 2019 is to include more personal blog posts, just like this one, so I hope you all enjoyed it!  I hope everyone has an incredibly blessed Christmas!
