Sara + Kevin | Rixeyville, VA Wedding at Rixey Manor

In the midst of all the craziness that 2020 has brought for weddings and wedding planning, there has been a silver lining. Many couples have opted to postpone their big wedding celebration, but still get married on their original date surrounded by those who mean the most. Sara and Kevin decided to do just that, and say “I Do” and focus on their celebration with their parents and siblings. These smaller weddings have been truly incredible, and such a special way to focus on the little moments on a day that goes by so fast! Additionally, while I get to capture these intimate weddings, I get to celebrate with my couples a second time when they have their big wedding celebration later on and capture all those festivities! Talk about a win-win for me <3

Using floral petals for portraits is always a good idea. Kevin’s mom brought these rose petals as a surprise and we went up to the rooftop at Rixey Manor for these photos!
