2020 was such an unexpected year for so many to say the very least. It is quite interesting to think of what my expectations were for the year, and now look back on everything that actually happened! I shot my first wedding of 2020 in February, having no idea that the entire wedding industry would be shut down just about a month later. For my business, even though it was hard, this was my best year. Much of that is due to my amazing clients for how they continuously supported both myself and my business. For those who were forced to change their initial wedding plans, everyone opted to postpone their wedding celebrations instead of canceling. Not only was this a blessing, it was a huge source of inspiration for me because I knew that I still had weddings to look forward to.
I like focusing on the good things, so today I will be sharing what I consider the best images from 2020 weddings! Basically I am just highlighting my many favorite images from the weddings I was incredibly fortunate to capture this past year. Knowing it was a difficult year and being able to share these images is quite humbling. How lucky am I to have documented such beautiful weddings?! I had the hardest time narrowing down choices which means this may be my longest blog post to date! I also have to give a shoutout to my wonderful second shooters that helped me this year. Katie, Kate and Amber, you guys are the best!
To all 12 of my wonderful 2020 couples, thank you thank you thank you. Because of you, I was able to keep my photography dreams going during a tough year and I will forever be grateful for that!
