Jacqua + Nick | DC Proposal at the Jefferson Memorial

This day was an absolute highlight of 2023. It is always an honor to document specific moments or milestones for my clients, but add in an iconic location like the Jefferson Memorial, and it just becomes a photographer’s dream. What made this day even more special though, is that Jacqua is one of my very first friends, so being able to capture her proposal was incredibly meaningful to me. Nick put in so much thought and effort into the entire day, and everything came together beautifully. After the proposal, we walked all around the monuments to simply captured all the joy of the day, along with Harvey, their perfect golden retriever <3 I am so excited to share some of the highlights, and re-live this beautiful day!

To Jacqua + Nick, thank you a million times for having me document this proposal. It meant the world to me, and I am thrilled for you both as you enter this new season together.
