Merry Christmas Eve! I’ve been wanting to blog this post for a while now, but this was the busiest fall season I have ever had and I had to put blogging on the back burner to keep up with editing and other business demands. Now that I am officially done shooting for the remainder of the year and through most of January, I can catch up with blogging! I have so many sessions and weddings to share, but for now, I wanted to post a few photos of my Christmas decor. Last year, I shared this post with all of my Christmas decorations and didn’t know it would be popular enough for people to ask about it again this year!
If you know anything about me, you know Christmas is my favorite holiday. I decorate early (aka before Thanksgiving). Judge me if you want but I like to be holly jolly from essentially the day after halloween through the new year 🙂 Growing up, my family and I would decorate multiple Christmas trees throughout the house. That tradition has carried on, and this year, my husband and I have three trees up! Due to my busy schedule, I did not get to decorate the fourth tree and hang some of the other Christmas decor, but I still wanted to share the three trees I managed to get done.
First up is my absolute favorite tree. This one is in my office, and it will probably stay up the longest. Rose gold is my jam so what can I say?! It fits right in with everything else in my office!
Reindeer are my favorite, so this collection grows every year!
I decided to put a tree up in the foyer this year and I love it! Hobby Lobby has great options for narrow trees if space is tight.
This tree is in the living room and it is always a work in progress. Trying to find the balance of neutral and some hints of Christmas red is always a challenge. I love a tree that is packed with ornaments so I am hoping to score some after Christmas deals on more ornaments for this one!
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11, KJV
