Amanda + Jake | Madison, VA Wedding at Renback Barn

This wedding is special to me, and one I will never forget! I will start by saying if you know Amanda and Jake, you know that the journey to their wedding day was eventful to say the least. From rescheduling their date due to COVID-19, to selecting venues not once, not twice, but three times, wedding planning was no easy feat. The two of them kept their focus on their future together and their marriage, even with so much uncertainty surrounding their big day. Just 15 days out from their second date, they had to change their venue for a third time… talk about crazy! Nothing like being down to the wire and changing up the venue plans. When the day finally arrived, everything came together beautifully. This is where I have to give vendor shout outs to Renback Barn and Eventfully Yours by Brittany! They worked so hard to make sure that Amanda and Jake’s vision came to life. The wedding vendor community is incredible!

To Amanda and Jake, thank you for having me document this day! I feel fortunate to have worked with you both, your families and a wonderful team of vendors. Enjoy some of my favorite photos!

Renback Barn

Amanda did a first look with her dad and her bridesmaids and it was so sweet!

This was the initial ceremony set-up, but due to rain, there was a last minute change of plans to pull all the chairs under the covered porch of the barn, and move the arbor up.

Even though it rained and was super cloudy, we still had mountain views! Renback has the best views for sure!

Had to show off the gorgeous train! Amanda’s grammy did all the alterations on her dress and made her veil! How special is that?!

After portrait time, I think everyone was ready to celebrate their marriage… before we get to the dancing images, check out all the reception details! The inside of Renback Barn always looks beautiful.

Another vendor shoutout- if you are planning a wedding go book CJ tha DJ right now! He is the best and keeps the party going! Plus, how many DJ’s will breakdance at your wedding?!

Everyone celebrated with Amanda and Jake, including some vendors! Side note- I need to work every wedding with CJ, and Brittany from Eventfully Yours by Brittany. Can’t say enough good things about them!
