Spring Wedding at The Hermitage Museum and Gardens

The classic, elegant wedding was nothing short of a dream to photograph. Jessica + Daniel had their spring wedding at the beautiful Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk, VA. From the outstanding bridal party, to the heartfelt ceremony and stunning reception by the water, this wedding was filled with so many moments that truly fulfilled my photographer heart. Narrowing down my favorite images for this blog post was nearly impossible, but enjoy seeing their day through my perspective.

Photographing these beautiful elements that Jessica curated for the big day was the perfect way to kick off their wedding.

Before the ceremony, all of the guys got ready on this boat at the nearby Norfolk Yacht Club. This totally wins the award for coolest getting ready location.

Before the ceremony, Jessica and Daniel opted to share a first look and exchange their vows in one of the private garden areas on the grounds of The Hermitage Museum and Gardens.

I have to give a huge shoutout to this bridal party- they were truly lovely to work with. Jessica and Daniel were surrounded by amazing people <3 Loved taking the following portraits with The Hermitage in the background too!

Jessica and Daniel’s chose to have their ceremony take place under this massive tree at The Hermitage Museum and Gardens. It was such an idyllic setting for this spring wedding.

After we strolled around the venue for post-ceremony portraits, it was time for cocktail hour and their tented reception by the water. This classic reception design was stunning!
