This Outer Banks wedding at the Kitty Hawk Pier House was filled with coastal elegance. Allie and Austin opted to exchange vows in their favorite vacation spot. The Outer Banks of North Carolina are truly magical, and make for the perfect setting for a wedding. There is something so peaceful about getting married on the coast, and documenting such a special day was truly a dream for me. I photographed Allie’s sister’s wedding in 2020, and working with the same family again is the highest honor as a photographer.

With the sounds of the waves crashing in the background, Allie + Austin opted to share a first touch and exchange private vows before the oceanfront ceremony.

The Outer Banks is my favorite place in the world, so photographing these sunset portraits was a total “pinch me I am dreaming moment”. Give me all of the coastal weddings to photograph!

This high energy reception was so fun to capture and the black and white images showcase all the emotions.
