These two are planning an Eastern Shore wedding, but they decided to do their engagements in the city where their story began. Hailee and Cole met in Fredericksburg during their time at University of Mary Washington. I love when clients pick such meaningful locations for their engagements- it all ties into how I document and preserve these memories for their unique love stories. Enjoy some of my many favorites from this stunning Virginia engagement session.
I first met Hailee at Jessica + Daniel’s Norfolk, VA wedding in 2024. She was a bridesmaid and SO sweet to work with. To say I was excited when she inquired about her upcoming wedding was an understatement. I am absolutely thrilled to be capturing Hailee + Cole’s wedding this fall on the Eastern Shore. I know it is going to be an incredible day.
The bell tower at University of Mary Washington made for an excellent backdrop. I loved getting to explore this beautiful campus for their engagements.
Hailee’s face lit up with excitement when I asked about a few motion blur portraits- I had to include a few of those here! This set of black and white images in Downtown Fredericksburg are definitely some new favorites of mine.
Downtown Fredericksburg is beautiful, but it really shines in the fall. All of the foliage added such beautiful colors to this session.
We switched gears for the second half of their engagement session and popped over to City Dock Park to grab some portraits with the iconic railway bridge in the background.
